Regional Workshop of CTBTO National Data Centers Launched at the Territorial Seismic Protection Service

From August 3 to 7 this year, a five-day regional workshop of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) for National Data Centers of Eastern European countries was held at the Territorial Seismic Protection Service (TSPS) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Sectoral representatives from various countries, international experts, and guests attended the event.

In her opening remarks, MIA Minister of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the CTBTO on behalf of the Armenian Government for holding the workshop in Armenia. She emphasized that such a high-level representation demonstrates the commitment to joint work and scientific expertise exchange in nuclear testing prohibition and monitoring.

The contribution of Armenia's TSPS to the International Monitoring System and Armenia’s active engagement attest to its ready role in international nuclear non-proliferation and security mechanisms.
