The workshop on seismic safety took place in at ANRA from 11 to 13 December 2013. The workshop was organized in frame of Cooperative Arrangement between US NRC and ANRA with joint efforts of ANRA, Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center (NRSC) and Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) of USA.
During the workshop the BNL experts made presentations on US and the international experience on NPP designing and seismic safety considerations, as well as the basic principles and methodology for seismic safety assessment. The ANRA and NRSC specialists participated in the workshop.
