TC Europe Region Project Management Workshop on Project Planning and Design was held in Yerevan, Armenia on 17-21 November 2014. The workshop was organized under the framework of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) INT/0/089 project “Developing Human Resources and Supporting Nuclear Technology” in cooperation with the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA).
Specialists of the regulatory bodies on nuclear and radiation safety, technical support organizations, medical institutions from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Russian Federation participated in the workshop The purpose of the workshop was to assist the specialists involved in designing of the IAEA national project for 2016-2017 in development of the national project designs.
During the Workshop the IAEA staff presented in detail the Logical Framework Approach which is used for designing of the IAEA TC national and regional projects.
The workshop consisted of presentations, interactive discussions and practical group exercises. The participants presented their national project concepts which were then used as basis for the group work.
