The Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA) jointly the Department of Nuclear Security of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) organized the National Training Course on “Preventive and Protective Measures against Insider Threats” from 5 to 9 September 2016 in Yerevan, Armenia.
The national training course was organized in frame of the Integrated Nuclear Security Support Plan for Armenia. It was attended by the specialists of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the RA, the National Security Service of the RA, the Police of the RA, the Armenian NPP, the “Armatom” CJSC and the “Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center” CJSC.
IAEA staff introduced the IAEA safety standards on insider threats, while the IAEA experts from USA, Great Britain, Russia and Finland introduced the experience in their countries and facilitated in conducting the thematic exercises.
At the end of national training courses all participants were awarded with the certificates.
