From 9 to 11 December 2013 the ANRA hosted the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Belarus Republic in frame of agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation for exchange of information and on nuclear safety and radiation protection. The delegation was led by the head of Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety.
The objective of the visit was to discuss the further cooperation trends between the regulatory authorities of both countries and to develop the action plan for implementation of the cooperation agreement. The ANRA presented the information on nuclear safety regulatory infrastructure, activity of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center, nuclear and radiation safety of the Armenian NPP. The delegation also visited the Armenian NPP and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RA.
