Regular meeting of PSA working group of WWER Regulators Forum took place from 4 to 7 September 2012 in Yerevan.
The PSA Working Group consists of representatives of regulators of the following countries: Finland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary and Armenia.
The meeting was organized with joint efforts of ANRA and NRSC.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the tasks implemented in frame of the WG activity, their results, progresses and risk-oriented decision making methods.
The PSA WG members made presentations that covered the following issues:
1. Application of PSA by regulatory authorities of WWER operating countries
2. Experience with application of risk-oriented decision making methods
3. Peculiarities of national legislation concerned with application of PSA and risk-oriented decision making methods to ensure NPP safety.
Results of the meeting and further actions of the working group were summarized in the protocol.
